The Scarecrow Festival is one of the largest annual events in Lumsden and the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley is the perfect backdrop!
Each year thousands of folks visit Lumsden in September and enjoy a full day of family friendly events, including local shopping, horse-drawn hay rides, an outdoor street market, food vendors, kids activities, fireworks an outdoor movie and more!
A friendly competition takes place for the best scarecrow display; you can drive around town and check out the great displays in front of the local businesses and resident's front yards.
