Emergencies

Emergencies can happen at any time. We all need to be as prepared as we can. The Town of Lumsden has an Emergency Management Organization (EMO) that can be engaged at any time. To read more about the EMO and other emergency preparedness information, please click the links to the left. 

Royal Canadian Mounted Police:

Fire Department:

The Town of Lumsden is serviced by the Lumsden & District Volunteer Fire Department. To learn more, click on the link to the left.

Ambulance & Medical First Responder Services:

Ambulances are dispatched by 911 and come from Regina. 

Medical First Responders are also dispatched by 911. They are fully trained individuals that live in the community, to administer first aid and CPR until an ambulance arrives.

AED's - Automated External Defibrillator:

AED's are portable electronic devices that automatically diagnose cardiac arrhythmias and are able to treat them through defibrillation (electricity to stop the arrhythmia and re-establish an effective heart rhythm). Click on the link to the left to see the list of locations in Lumsden with an AED.
