Water Main Break - Ross St. & Area
The Town of Lumsden is aware of a water main break on Ross Street, affecting residents on the 300–500 block of Ross Street and on 5th Avenue from Ross Street to Lake Street.
Residents in the affected area will experience significantly reduced water pressure. Some water will remain on to allow for essential use, such as flushing toilets.
Contractors are scheduled to begin repairs tomorrow morning. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore normal service as quickly as possible.
Impacted residents will receive a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA), hand delivered to each household by our Public Works Department. This 'boil water' advisory will remain active until a second notice is delivered to each household advising the PDWA has been rescinded.
