Property Assessment

The 2025 Town of Lumsden Assessment Notices have been mailed (Jan.17/25). The Assessment Roll is now open, which means, any person can access assessment information about their property or any other property in the municipality, by visiting the SAMAView website. The Assessment Roll will be open until March 19, 2025.

Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) is responsible for providing municipalities in Saskatchewan with the assessed values of land and improvements (buildings) in order for the municipality to calculate property taxes.

APPEAL INFORMATION:

If you believe there is a mistake in your assessment, you are first required to contact SAMA to discuss the assessment with them. An appeal should be filed by completing the form on the back of your Assessment Notice and delivering it to the Lumsden Municipal Office with the $50 appeal fee. If your appeal is successful, you will be refunded the $50 fee.
