Lumsden is part of the 22 000 km Trans Canada Trail (TCT) that runs from coast to coast in Canada. The Town and RM of Lumsden manage approximately 17 km of the TCT trail from Lumsden to Deer Valley. We have it divided into 3 sections; Lumsden, Saw-whet and Deer Valley.
The Trans Canada Trail commences in RiverPark in Lumsden and leads to the Saw-Whet Trail located just outside of Town From there you can continue to the Deer Valley Trail. Click here for a map and details: Trans Canada Trail Brochure and Map
